PREAMBLE
An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to Co-operative Societies in the State of Maharashtra
In order to promote the systematic growth of the cooperative movement in Maharashtra, aligning with the pertinent directive principles of State policy outlined in the Indian Constitution, it is deemed necessary to consolidate and revise the laws concerning cooperative societies in the state. Thus, enacted in the Eleventh Year of the Republic of India, the following provisions are hereby declared:
